In
the spring, summer and fall of 2006,
a group of practitioners
met to
reflect on practice through storytelling.
They told their own stories and
explored the use of story in the literacy field.
The group was facilitated by Tannis Atkinson and Sheila Stewart.
The participants were Mary Brehaut, Guy
Ewing, Michelle Kuhlman,
Tracey Mollins and Maria
Moriarty.
The Story Group evolved into The
Uses of Narrative in Adult Literacy Teaching and Learning
Project funded
by the Canadian Council on Learning from September 2007
until December 2008.
